Speak a job out loud, fill a form, or photo a receipt. That's your entire job. The system generates the invoice, tracks the money, and keeps your records organised — so your accountant has everything they need, automatically.
No card. No commitment. Just first access when we launch.
Say the customer, the job and the amount. On a noisy site or standing with the customer? Use the short form instead. Either way, the same invoice is created, sent and logged.
Invoice outScrewfix run, diesel, a new drill. Take a photo on your phone. The system reads the supplier, amount, and date, then categorises it — materials, fuel, tools, or subcontractors. Done before you've left the car park.
Spend trackedWhat you've invoiced, what you've been paid, what you're owed, what you've spent. One screen. Live. No spreadsheets. No surprises at year end.
Always currentDon’t fancy talking to your phone? Type the same three details into the short form.
No accounting speak. Just the numbers you need before you pack up the van: what came in, what went out, and who needs chasing.
Tap and speak the job when it suits you: customer, what you did, the amount. On a noisy site or in front of a customer, use the short form instead. Same invoice, no fuss.
Photo or PDF — thermal receipts, supplier invoices, fuel stops. AI reads the supplier, date, and amount, then categorises it. Materials, fuel, tools, subcontractors, other. Done before you leave the car park.
Your income, what's been paid, what's still owed, and what you've spent — broken down by month. Accessible on your phone. Always current. Share the link with your accountant and they can see it too.
After an invoice is created, tap to open WhatsApp pre-loaded with your bank details and invoice reference. No copy-pasting sort codes or asking them to check email. One tap, payment details sent.
Invoices go out with your business logo and proper details. If you're VAT registered, every invoice shows the net, 20% VAT, and total automatically. Your VAT number included. No manual calculations, ever.
Everything categorised and logged throughout the year. When January rolls round, your accountant gets clean digital records — categorised, ready for MTD — not a carrier bag of receipts and guesswork.
Electricians, plumbers, builders, painters, plasterers. If you run a trade business, invoice customers, and buy materials — Cleared was built for the way you actually work.
No software training. No accountancy jargon. No logging into a system at 9pm when you should be relaxing.
"Built for the way trade businesses actually work — not the way accountants wish they did."
Cleared — Built for the trades
Since April 2026, if your trade business turns over more than £50,000 a year, you're legally required to keep digital records and report your income and expenses to HMRC every quarter through your accountant. Not just at year end. Every three months.
That threshold drops to £30,000 in April 2027 and £20,000 in April 2028. It's called Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, and if you're not compliant yet, you need to be.
Cleared keeps your records digital, timestamped, and categorised automatically. Every invoice logged, every receipt filed. When your accountant needs to submit your quarterly figures, everything's already organised and waiting.
A sparky billing £300/day loses at least 2–3 hours a month to invoicing and receipt sorting. At your day rate, that's £75–120 of your time. Cleared costs £49 and gives it back.
And every job you invoice by voice instead of forgetting about? That's money you'd have lost entirely. Cleared pays for itself on the first recovered invoice.
